Project overview
An open call for murals at a local creative center invited to submit designs for their walls. I wanted to find different ways to communicate, that this a center for creativity. As many different disclipenes come together in this place, I didn't want to let my focus for visual art dominate too much (I'm biased, what can I see).

Challenge
My first route focused on the common practices, creative people have which for me is the CREATION itself, of course with our brains but also our hands. The second route tried to focus on another aspect of the center, a close proximity to a childrens playground and a child-friendly cafe. The little characters are drawing you in, while being sutible for children and adults. The last route is more for the artists working there itself, referencing "The Dance" by Matisse, combining it with space for a combination of past and future - and a joyful dance of the different disciplines together.
Outcome
While my design have sadly not been chosen, researching how to do and price murals taught me a lot. And I really love the how my three possible design turned out. So if anyone is in need of a mural, hit me up, I'll give you a discount!
